Scotchkote 656 Poly-tech BP Primer (Thortex Poly-Tech BP) is a single pack coating that has been specially manufactured as a primer and sealer, for use on asphalt, felt and porous mineral roof surfaces.

Uses

Scotchkote 656 Poly-tech BP Primer is best used in conjunction with Scotchkote EC 661 Poly-Tech Finisher. It offers excellent weathering resistance and resistance to UV light, when applied as part of a roofing protection system.

Surface and Environment

Scotchkote 656 Polytech BP Primer has been specifically developed for application to asphalt, felt and porous mineral roof surfaces, offering excellent protection against bitumen bleed.

Application

Scotchkote 656 Poly-tech BP Primer has excellent application characteristics when applied using brush or roller and dries to a translucent blue finish ready to be overcoated after 4 hours. Scotchkote 656 Polytech BP Primer has a theoretical coverage rate of 8m sq. per litre and is available in an 18 litre container.
