Description

Greasil 4000 is a water repellent, non-melting silicone grease lubricant.  Greasil 4000 although not soluble in water based hydraulic fluids does not affect the fluid performance when used as a connector or assembling lubricant.  Greasil 4000 has no effect on plastics, rubbers or metals, and remains essentially unaltered in UV and temperatures between -50°C (-58°F) and 280°C (536°F).  Greasil 4000 is orderless, non-toxic and is an Environmental user friendly product.

Greasil 4000 can be applied by swab to motion compensator rods, and when used sparingly Greasil 4000 will have a negligible effect on Oceanic Fluids.  In addition to preventing water from reaching the substrate, Greasil 4000 insulates metal from galvanic corrosion.  Other applications include the lubrication of instruments, “O”-ring and seals in pneumatics, compressed air systems, and to waterproof electric systems.
